Heavy Duty Three Tier Racking for Rear of Container

$405.00

A 1,850 mm three-tier bay sized for the end wall of a container — the space normally wasted. Same pre-assembled frames and clip-in beams as the side racking, 550 kg per shelf.

SKU: AC-0097 Category:

The end wall of a container is the space everyone forgets. It is only about 2.3 metres wide, which is why standard 2,250 mm bays do not sit well there, and it is usually left as a place to lean things. This 1,850 mm three-tier bay is sized for that wall specifically, adding three more shelf levels in space you had already paid for.

It uses the same pre-assembled 2 m frames and clip-in beams as the side racking, so a container fitted with both reads as one system rather than two.

What it will and will not combine with

In a 20ft container you can run two-tier or three-tier racking down both sides and still fit this bay across the end. In a 40ft you cannot — with side racking installed down the full length there is no longer enough clearance at the end for a bay. Choose one or the other in a 40ft.

Using it on its own

The bay works as standalone racking in any container size, including a 10ft where side racking would leave no room to stand. Some buyers fit one at each end of a 20ft and leave both sides completely clear for long items, ladders or wheeled plant.

Planning the layout

A racking diagram is available in the product downloads showing how the bays combine in each container length. There is a two-tier version of this same end bay for taller stock. See everything in container accessories and the containers in the 20ft range.
