Heavy Duty Adjustable Three Tier Container Racking – 2 Bays

An empty 20ft container holds about 33 cubic metres. Stack boxes on the floor and you will use maybe a third of it, because nobody piles stock two metres high without shelving. Two bays of three-tier racking down one side turns the wasted vertical space into working storage and, more usefully, means you can reach the item you want without unstacking everything in front of it.

Each bay is 2,250 mm wide. Two bays fill one full side of a 20ft container; the same kit can also be fitted in a 30ft or 40ft.

What is in the kit

Two pre-assembled end frames and the beams for each shelf level. The beams slot into the frames and lock with safety clips — no bolting, no drilling into the container, and no welding. One person can put a bay up; two makes it quick.

Fitting out both sides

This kit covers a single side. Order two to rack both sides of the container, which still leaves a working aisle down the middle of a 20ft. There is also space for a separate bay across the end wall of a 20ft using the rear-of-container racking, giving you three racked faces.

Loading it sensibly

550 kg per shelf is generous, but load it low: heavy stock on the bottom tier, light and infrequently used items up top. Shelf heights adjust in 50 mm increments, so set them around what you are actually storing rather than evenly.
