An 8 W, 960 lumen solar floodlight with a PIR sensor and IP65 housing, on a post that clamps into a container corner casting. No cabling, no electrician, nothing to switch off at ground level.
Wiring a light to a container is the expensive part — a trench, a licensed electrician and a switchboard, for a box that may be moved next year. This solar floodlight avoids all of it. The panel charges through the day, a PIR sensor turns the lamp on when it detects movement at night, and there is nothing at ground level for anyone to unplug or switch off.
The supplied post clamps into any of the four top corner castings, so the light goes up in minutes with no drilling and no welding. Angle it, bolt it and you are done.
| Lamp | 8 W LED, 960 lumens, 6500 K |
|---|---|

| Battery | 14.8 Wh lithium-ion, 3.7 V 4 Ah |

| Runtime | Up to 8 hours of light when fully charged |
| Mounting | Powder coated post clamps into a top corner casting |
The post fixes into the corner casting rather than being bolted through the container skin, which means no penetrations to rust and nothing that voids the weather seal. It also puts the lamp above head height, out of reach of anyone at ground level — the point of a security light that cannot be tampered with.
The floodlight covers the approach; for the container interior a magnetic PIR ceiling light needs no wiring either. Both are in container accessories, along with racking and moisture control for a full fit-out. If you have not bought the container yet, start with the used container range.
