20ft One Trip Shipping Container – White (RAL 9003)

Exporting goods in your own container removes a whole category of argument. There is no shared load, no other shipper’s cargo shifting into yours, and the container is yours at the other end. This 20ft is a one-trip unit in RAL 9003 white with a CSC plate rated to 30 tonnes gross, which is what a line will want to see before it accepts the box.

White is also the practical choice for a container that will be stencilled with marks and numbers, or that will sit in a tropical port for a fortnight.

Condensation on a long voyage

Container rain is a real problem on the run north out of Australia: warm humid air trapped at packing condenses on the roof as the ship moves through temperature bands and drips onto the cargo. Four vents help. Desiccant, dunnage and keeping hygroscopic goods off the floor help more. Plan for it at packing, not on arrival.
