10ft Used Shipping Container – Wind & Watertight

This is the cheapest 10ft container we sell, and the description is deliberately blunt: these are genuine ex-shipping-line units that have worked hard. There will be rust and there will be dents. What is guaranteed is that they are structurally sound and wind and watertight — the doors seal, the roof does not leak, and the frame is straight.

For a farm gate, a builder’s compound, a mine camp laydown or anywhere the container’s job is to be locked and rained on, condition beyond that is money you do not need to spend.

Availability

Stock in this grade depends entirely on what comes off the shipping lines, so it moves in batches and it moves quickly. Ask us to confirm what is actually in the yard for your postcode before you commit to a date — we would rather have that conversation up front than after you have paid.

Where it sits against the other grades

A note on shipping this size

A 10ft container is not accepted as ocean freight on its own — the minimum for a standalone unit is 20ft. Ten-foot containers travel coupled to another 10ft or as mixed cargo.
