A new 10.67 m gooseneck with a 3.66 m fully automatic hydraulic dovetail, twin 10,000 lb braked axles and solar charging. Rated 25,000 lb gross with about 7,493 kg of payload.
The automatic dovetail is what sets this Diamond C FMAX apart. Instead of wrestling ramps into place, the 3.66 m tail drops hydraulically to the ground and lifts back flush, powered from a Group 27 battery kept topped up by a 7 W solar panel and a 5 A charger. On a machine that gets loaded and unloaded several times a day, that is a genuine time and back-saver.
Underneath is a 406 mm engineered beam frame with 76 mm I-beam crossmembers at 406 mm centres and formed gussets, plus a sway control pipe and a 305 mm engineered neck.

Operating it
Keep the battery charged and the hydraulics serviced – an automatic dovetail is a great feature right up until it stops moving with a machine sitting on it. The solar charger helps if the trailer sits for weeks between jobs, which is exactly when batteries die.
