2013 Shadow 2HSL 2 Horse Angle Load Float

Shadow build all-aluminium two horse floats and this 2013 2HSL is a tidy example: a 3.96 m box, 2.29 m of interior height, a 0.61 m short wall and a long wall running the full 2.13 m. Described as very clean.

At 2.06 m external width it is a fraction narrower than a full-size float, which helps in tight showground parking.

Short box, tall roof

A short box with a genuinely tall interior suits owners who move one or two horses regularly and want them to travel comfortably without towing something the size of a truck. The 2.29 m ceiling gives a 16-hand horse room to carry its head properly.

Aluminium and long service life

Aluminium floats hold their value because they hold their condition. There is no rust to chase, panels stay straight, and the structure does not lose section over time the way a steel chassis does. What they do need is attention to fasteners, because dissimilar metals in contact will corrode where they meet.

Imported US-market stock. It has not been assessed against Australian Design Rules, state registration requirements, roadworthy standards or any Australian livestock transport welfare code, and none of that is claimed.
