Bearings packed, lights and brakes serviced — with a date attached. That is more service documentation than most used floats come with, and on a 2011 Cimarron three horse float with rubber torsion axles and four-wheel electric brakes it is worth having.

Double-walled construction

A double wall puts a cavity between the horse and the outside world. It reduces heat transfer, deadens road noise, and gives the inner rubber lining something solid to work against. It also adds weight, which is the trade-off — but on a float carrying live animals it is weight in a useful place.

Ten-ply radial tyres

A ten-ply rating (load range E) gives substantial carrying capacity and sidewall stiffness. On a three-horse float it means the tyres are not the limiting component. Check their manufacture date as well as the tread — trailer tyres age out long before they wear out, particularly parked in Australian sun.

Imported US-market stock. Any delivery arrangements described in the original US listing do not apply; our delivery is a flat A$450 Australia-wide, detailed in our shipping policy. The float has not been assessed against Australian Design Rules or any Australian registration, roadworthy or livestock welfare requirement, and no such compliance is claimed.
