Single-axle 16 ft mobile steel office – the same manoeuvrability as the 12 ft with room for an extra person or a proper meeting corner. Shuttered glazing and a steel door for overnight security.
Compared with the 12 ft mobile office, this 16 ft unit keeps the single-axle chassis and the tight turning circle but adds enough floor to seat another person, or to keep a meeting table permanently set up rather than clearing the desk every time a subcontractor arrives.
It is aimed at project management on transient work – road corridors, pipelines, cable routes – and at sites where access will not take a truck delivering a conventional cabin. Steel shutters and a steel door mean it can be left on an open verge overnight with equipment inside.
Internally the space is open, insulated and lined, with 2.33 m of headroom. Power comes from a site board or generator through a lead terminated by a licensed electrician. Most crews run it with a small genset and a UPS for the laptop and printer.
Delivery is by truck; after that the unit tows behind a suitable site vehicle. Level it on the four corner legs each time it is repositioned, and always onto pads – a leg that sinks 40 mm overnight puts the door out of square.
Towing on public roads, registration and load ratings are matters for your state or territory road authority. Nothing in this listing should be taken as a roadworthiness or compliance statement. Within a site boundary it is straightforward.
If the office will not need to move, a fixed steel cabin costs less – see cabins for sale. To compare internal space against a converted container office, use the dimensions guide.
