Six and a half thousand litres of holding capacity in a shallow steel pan just 630 mm deep, built to sit beneath the larger steel toilet cabins. Serviceable from either side through 150 mm covered points.
This is the larger of the two sit-on waste tanks: 6,500 litres in a 4.88 m x 2.7 m steel pan just 630 mm deep, built to sit directly beneath a steel toilet cabin where there is no sewer to connect to. The extra 1,700 litres over the 4,800 litre version buys roughly a third more time between pump-outs, which on a remote site is the difference between a scheduled service and an emergency one.
It is built as an internal steel framework with supports, clad in 2 mm steel and primed black. Two 150 mm emptying points sit at the corners under covers so a tanker can service it from either side.
Estimate daily use honestly – headcount times a realistic per-person figure – then divide into 6,500 and take a margin off the answer. Tanks are always emptied later than planned, and the cost of a call-out on a Saturday dwarfs the cost of an extra scheduled service.
Check that a vacuum truck can get hose-reach to a corner point in the wet, not just in the dry. A tank that becomes unreachable after rain is a genuine problem on unsealed rural and mine-site access tracks.
The tank pairs with the steel toilet cabins listed under toilet and shower blocks and cabins for sale. On-site wastewater is regulated by the local council or health authority in every state, so read our approval guide before ordering.
