Insulated Aluminium Tiny Prefab House on Wheels

Aluminium panel construction over an anti-rust carbon steel trailer makes this one of the lighter tiny houses in the range, and the multi-axle running gear is set up for rougher access than a caravan chassis would tolerate. Layouts are available with one, two or three bedrooms, each including a living room, a full kitchen and a bathroom.

It is aimed at Australians who want a self-contained dwelling that can move: a backyard guest suite, a rural retreat, a short-stay rental, or accommodation on a block where building is not yet an option.

Bathroom and kitchen

• Flush toilet, acrylic shower base with glass partition, mounted basin and mirror cabinet
• Two-burner stove built into the benchtop, deep stainless sink, cabinet storage
• Clean water tank and sewage holding tank, set up for off-grid or RV-style hook-ups

Power and insulation

LED lighting is pre-installed throughout, with an integrated circuit breaker box and multiple socket outlets. Walls and roof are fully insulated for year-round use. As with any imported dwelling, the final electrical connection must be made and certified to AS/NZS 3000 by a licensed Australian electrician before the unit is energised.

The part that needs homework

The manufacturer describes the unit as sealed against water, dust and wind and durable in harsh climates. Those are the maker’s descriptions; this listing does not claim any cyclone rating, National Construction Code compliance or council approval. Whether you can legally live in a relocatable dwelling on your land depends entirely on your council and your zoning. Read our approval guide, then ask your council directly before committing. Comparable units are grouped under cabins for sale.
