12ft x 8ft Steel Drying Room Cabin

Wet PPE that never dries is a genuine problem on winter civil jobs, and it is one this 12 ft x 8 ft steel cabin is purpose-built to solve. The interior is set up as a drying room: fitted benches, hanging space and a high-level fan heater that moves warm air over gear overnight so the crew is not pulling on cold wet overalls at 6 am.

It shares the secure steel shell used across the range – insulated walls and ceiling, wipe-clean lining, sealed vinyl floor, a deadlocking steel external door and one sliding window behind a steel shutter.

Electrical capacity matters here

Unlike a plain office cabin, a drying room draws real current. The unit comes with its own fitted switchboard, power points, convector heater and strip lighting, and is electrically tested before dispatch. Talk to your electrician about the supply size before you connect it: a fan heater running all night on an undersized site lead is the classic cause of nuisance tripping.

Pairing it with the rest of the compound

Standing it up

Corner posts mean no jacking legs, but the ground still needs to be level and firm at four points.
