The largest steel site office in the range: 7.07 m x 2.75 m of open plan behind a twin-deadlocked steel door, with three shuttered windows, heating, lighting and power already fitted.
At 24 ft x 9 ft this is the biggest secure steel office in the range, and the width is as important as the length. With 2.75 m internally you can run desks down both sides and still walk between them, which a 2.195 m wide cabin will not allow. Principal contractors, alliance projects and mine-support offices tend to specify this size.
The interior is open plan, insulated, lined with wipe-clean board and floored in sealed vinyl. Three sliding windows behind steel shutters give it enough natural light to work in all day, which is not something you can say about the smaller cabins.
Open plan is the flexible option: shelving and screens divide the space now and can be rearranged when the project stage changes. If you need a hard partition, a toilet cubicle or a canteen bench, the refurbished and built-to-order cabins are the better starting point.
Power points, an electric convector heater and fluorescent strip lighting are installed, and the cabin is electrically tested before dispatch. Site connection is a licensed electrician’s job under AS/NZS 3000.
Corner posts, four level bearing points, stackable with same-size units. Larger cabins telegraph an unlevel pad quickly, so check both diagonals before the fit-out goes in. See other sizes under cabins for sale, or compare against a container-based office in our dimensions guide.
