Heavy Duty Two Tier Racking for Rear of Container

Two shelves across the end wall, sized at 1,850 mm to actually fit there. This is the kit for containers where the stock is bulky and the side racking is already in — a rear bay adds capacity in the one part of the container that is otherwise doing nothing but holding the doors up.

The frames arrive pre-assembled at 2 m high and 600 mm deep; the beams slot in and lock with safety clips, and shelf heights adjust in 50 mm increments so the two levels can be set wherever your stock needs them.

Which containers it suits

It combines with two-tier side racking in a 20ft and in a 40ft. It does not fit a 10ft alongside side racking — there simply is not the clearance once both walls are racked at 600 mm deep. In a 10ft, use it on its own and leave the sides open.

Two tiers rather than three

Two levels give roughly a metre of clear height per shelf, which is what you want for drums, cartons of stock, folded stillages and anything else that will not lie flat. If your stock is small and boxed, the three-tier version of this end bay uses the same space more efficiently.
