A single 2,250 mm bay of three-tier racking — one side of a 10ft container, or one section of a larger one. Pre-assembled frames, clip-in beams, 550 kg per shelf, nothing fixed to the container.
A 10ft container has one bay of wall on each side and no room to spare, so the racking has to earn its place. This single 2,250 mm bay of three-tier shelving takes one side and leaves you standing room; order a second kit and both sides are racked, at which point you have turned a small steel box into a genuine store. The same bay also fits 20ft, 30ft and 40ft containers if you only need one section racked.
Frames come pre-assembled at 2 m high and 600 mm deep. The beams slot in and clip — nothing is fixed to the container itself.
| Bay width | 2,250 mm |
|---|---|
| End frames | 2 pre-assembled frames, 2 m high x 600 mm wide |
| Beams | 2 per shelf with safety clips |
| Shelf | 25 mm chipboard |
| Shelf capacity | 550 kg per shelf |
| Height adjustment | 50 mm increments |
| Finish | Powder coated steel |
| Kit covers | One side, single bay |
| Max bays per side | 10ft: 1 | 20ft: 2 | 40ft: 5 |
Once both sides are racked at 600 mm deep, the remaining clearance across a 10ft container is not enough to fit a bay on the end wall as well. That is a physical constraint, not a product limitation — if you need three racked faces, you need a 20ft.
Three tiers in a 2 m frame is the default, but the 50 mm adjustment means you can drop the bottom shelf for tall stock or lift it clear of the floor for wet or dusty sites. Work out your tallest item first and set the rest around it.
A two-tier version of the same bay suits bulkier goods. Lighting, ramps and door stays are in container accessories, and the containers themselves in the 8ft and 10ft range.
