Twelve metres of ex-shipping-line steel, checked over by our technical team and sold wind and watertight. Stock arrives in batches, so ask before you plan a delivery date around it.
Twelve metres for the price of a small car. That is the appeal of a used 40ft, and it is why they end up as farm machinery sheds, workshop annexes, boat stores and the raw material for container home builds all over the country. These are ex-shipping-line containers that have finished their working life at sea and been checked over by our technical team before sale. They are sold wind and watertight.
Stock at this grade moves quickly and arrives in batches, so availability changes week to week — ask before you plan a delivery date around it.

A 40ft container needs a genuinely straight, firm approach and roughly 30 metres for the truck to work in. It also needs level bearers under all four corners — twist a 12-metre container on uneven ground and the doors will not close. This is the single most common cause of a “faulty” container that turns out not to be faulty at all.
Cargo-worthy and high cube 40ft units are stocked alongside this one at different price points. Compare them in the 40ft container range and read container grades explained so you buy the grade you actually need.
