A 4,800 litre sit-on waste tank built to sit directly beneath the 2+1 steel toilet cabin. Steel framed, 2 mm clad, primed black, with two 150 mm corner emptying points under covers.
Where there is no sewer to connect to, the toilet block sits on top of its own holding tank. This is that tank: a 4,800 litre steel unit measuring 3.66 m x 2.7 m and only 630 mm deep, designed to sit directly under the matching 2+1 steel toilet cabin so the whole assembly stays low enough to step into without a ramp.
Construction is an internal steel framework with supports, clad in 2 mm steel and primed black. Two 150 mm emptying points sit at the corners under covers, so a vacuum tanker can service it from whichever side the truck can reach.
Capacity is the whole planning question. Work out realistic daily usage, then set a service interval that leaves headroom – running a tank to the brim is how you end up paying for an emergency call-out. Make sure a tanker can physically get within hose reach of a corner point in wet weather, not just in the dry.
This tank is sized for the 2+1 steel toilet cabin; both are listed under toilet and shower blocks. Because an amenities installation usually triggers a council process even when it is relocatable, our approval guide is worth reading before the tank is ordered.
