The largest towable welfare unit in the range: a 20 ft twin-axle mobile canteen with steel shutters and corner legs. Full crew capacity that still follows the work face around the site.
At 6.096 m on twin axles, this is the biggest wheeled welfare unit available – and the point at which a mobile canteen stops being a compromise. Internally it gives 5.896 m x 2.135 m, enough seating for a full crew, with two shuttered windows for light and cross-ventilation.
Twin axles change how it behaves. It tracks better behind a tow vehicle, carries more weight, and sits more stably once levelled, at the cost of needing a bit more room to manoeuvre than the single-axle 12 ft and 16 ft units.
Water and electricity connections are required and may be mains or generator fed. Plan the genset and water supply as part of the unit, not as an afterthought – a 20 ft canteen serving a full crew gets through more hot water than people expect.
Delivered and offloaded by truck, then towed into position and levelled on the four corner legs. Use pads under each leg, chock the wheels, and re-level after wet weather. On public roads, registration, brakes and ratings are matters for your state road authority – treat nothing here as a compliance statement.
Fixed-cabin alternatives are under cabins for sale, and long-stay compounds should start with our council approval guide.
