Sliding doors change how a container is used on a constrained site. Instead of two big leaves that need a couple of metres of swing clearance in front of them, the doors run along the container’s own side — so it can be positioned tight against a fence, a wall or the next container in a row and still be opened fully.

The doors are formed from the container’s side panels themselves. Depending on the model there is one or two of them along the long side, and the container is a high cube, which is what allows sixteen 1,000-litre IBCs to be loaded and worked inside it.

The point of a sliding side door is that a forklift can drive up square to any part of the opening and place a pallet or an IBC directly, rather than reaching in from the end. On a hardstand with limited manoeuvring room that is often the difference between a workable store and one that gets abandoned.

Confirm the door configuration

Stock comes with either one or two sliding doors, and which you get depends on the unit available. If your layout depends on it, tell us before ordering and we will confirm what is in stock rather than allocating whatever is next in the yard.

Containment is separate
