The 300 mm that a high cube adds over a standard container sounds trivial until you try to put a mini excavator, a scissor lift or a stack of pallet racking inside one. At 2.9 metres external the ceiling clears equipment that a standard 20ft catches, which is why plant hire yards and civil contractors specify high cube almost by default for machine storage.

These are one-trip containers — ISO built, single voyage into Australia, CSC plated to 30 tonnes gross, on a 28 mm marine plywood floor over steel cross members.
