Fitting it out yourself

Engineered wood walls take screws anywhere, which is exactly what you want if you are building shelving, a pipe rack or a bench to suit your own trade. An aluminium-lined trailer looks better but fights you every time you want to hang something.

The barlock

A bar lock throws steel into the top and bottom of the frame rather than relying on a single latch. On a trailer that carries tools and gets left at a site overnight, that is the difference between a deterrent and a decoration.
