Compact dump trailers do the majority of the work on suburban jobs, and this RawMaxx SDX is a well-specified example: a 5 x 10 body on a 127 mm channel frame with 76 mm channel crossmembers at 406 mm centres, twin electrically braked Dexter spring axles, and a scissor lift.

Rear barn doors with integrated spreader doors give you two unloading modes. Open the barn doors fully to tip a heap; use the spreader doors to lay a controlled trail of gravel or sand as you drive.

Slide-out ramps

The 1.52 m channel ramps stow inside the body, which sounds minor until you have spent a season lifting loose ramps in and out of a ute. They also let the trailer double as a machine float for a small mini-digger or a walk-behind.

Suburban access

At 3.05 m of body on a tandem chassis, this is one of the few dump trailers that will reverse down a standard suburban driveway and turn in a normal cul-de-sac. If most of your work is residential landscaping or renovation clean-ups rather than open civil sites, that manoeuvrability is worth more than extra capacity you cannot get to the job.
