2024 Alum-Line 8.5ft x 24ft Aluminium Gooseneck Trailer – 5.9t Flip-Over Ramps

Aluminium goosenecks are rare and this is why people want them: the whole trailer weighs about 1,379 kg while carrying a maker’s rating of 13,000 lb gross. That saved tare goes straight into payload, and it means the trailer does not corrode away in a coastal yard the way a painted steel deck does.

The structure is a 254 mm x 12.7 mm aluminium channel superstructure decked in non-skid tongue-and-groove extruded aluminium – a deck that does not rot, does not need replacing and does not soak up diesel.

The rear ramp arrangement

Three flip-over ramps combine to create a full-width ramped rear over a beavertail. For loading anything wide-track – a tractor, a mower deck, a pair of side-by-sides – a full-width ramp beats two narrow ones every time, because you are not steering to hit them.

Gross 13,000 lb (about 5,897 kg), tare 3,040 lb (about 1,379 kg), rated payload 9,960 lb (about 4,518 kg) – all US manufacturer figures, converted. They are not ADR ratings and this is not a roadworthiness or compliance statement. Registration of an imported gooseneck runs through your state or territory road authority; the tow vehicle’s rated capacity matters just as much.
