A 2007 Circle J two-horse angle-load float with everything reported working — electric brakes, all lights, drop-down windows with protective bars, three swing-out saddle racks and a water tank.
Everything on this Circle J two horse float works. That is worth stating plainly on a used float, because a great many do not: all the lights function, the electric brakes are operational, the tyres and wood floor are described as in good condition, and it has drop-down windows with drop-down bars.
Torsion axles rated 1,590 kg each, three swing-out saddle racks, double rear doors and a water tank.
A drop-down window without bars is an invitation for a horse to put its head out at 90 km/h. The protective bars let you run the windows fully open for airflow while keeping the horse inside the box. On a float that will be used through an Australian summer, they are not optional.
The floor is reported to be in good condition, but timber floors on floats of this age should be inspected properly — mats lifted, planks probed, bearers checked from underneath. Do that before the first trip, not after. A timber floor that has been looked after will last decades; one that has not can fail without warning.
