Short box, three bays

Fitting three bays into 4.57 m means each of them is compact. That suits stock horses, ponies and lighter-framed types; it is worth measuring before committing a big warmblood to it. What you gain is a three-horse float that parks, turns and stores like a two.

Height for the horse at the back

A 2.29 m ceiling matters most for the horse in the rearmost bay, which typically has the least room to move and the most motion to deal with. Interior height is one of the few specifications on a float that a horse notices every minute of the trip.
