Narrow floats and wide horses

A 1.83 m external width is noticeably narrower than the 2.13 m that most two-horse floats run. That is an advantage on farm tracks and in tight showgrounds, but it does mean less shoulder room per bay. Measure your horse across the shoulder and hip before assuming it will travel comfortably.
