2004 4 Star 2 Horse Angle Load Gooseneck Float

Compact goosenecks are rare among two horse floats, and this all-aluminium 4-Star is one. At 4.27 m it is short enough to tow behind a half-tonne ute rather than a heavy-duty truck, while still getting you the tracking and stability advantages of a gooseneck hitch.

Fully serviced at the time of listing, with drop-down head-side windows and screens, bus windows on the hip side, roof vents over each stall and an electric fan on the hip wall.

Ventilation done properly

Drop-down windows with screens on the head side, bus windows on the hip side, a vent above each stall and a fan on the wall gives you cross-flow at every level of the box. In an Australian summer that combination is worth far more than any single feature — hot, still air is the thing that makes horses travel badly.

Collapsible rear tack

A rear tack that folds away converts the float from a two-horse with storage into a wider, more open box when you need it. Useful if you occasionally carry an oversized horse, or want to walk a nervous one straight through rather than around a fixed partition.
