Towable 12 ft steel crib and canteen unit on a single axle – the most manoeuvrable welfare cabin in the range. Steel shutters and door, corner legs for levelling, water and power connection required.
Some jobs never stay still. Line marking, water main renewals, kerb and channel, powerline maintenance – the crew moves every few days and a craned-in cabin is the wrong tool. This 12 ft wheeled canteen is the smallest towable welfare unit in the range, built to be dropped by truck once and then shifted around the site behind a ute, 4WD or site dumper.
It is an all-steel shell with roller shutters over the window and a steel door system, so it can be left closed up overnight on an unfenced verge. Inside is an open crib area; the unit connects to water and power, either mains or a site generator.
Standard practice is delivery and offload by truck, then towing into position and levelling on the four corner legs. Chock the wheels, wind the legs down onto pads rather than bare ground, and check the floor with a level before the kettle goes on. Because it sits on wheels rather than corner posts, it can also be repositioned in minutes without plant.
This is a plant-yard tow unit rather than a highway trailer. Treat road registration, coupling, brakes and load ratings as something to confirm with your state road authority before towing it anywhere other than within a site. For crib rooms that stay put instead, see the fixed steel cabins under cabins for sale, and compare footprints against a container conversion in our dimensions guide.
