10ft Used Reefer Container – Refrigerated Coolroom

Ten feet of thermally controlled space, adjustable anywhere between −25 °C and +25 °C to roughly one degree. It is the smallest ISO-compliant reefer made, which makes it the one that fits: event compounds, laboratory yards, brewery courtyards, construction sites and testing facilities where the six-metre model simply will not go. Around 13 cubic metres of regulated space, moved by forklift or crane.

Interior surfaces are stainless steel and aluminium, so they wipe down properly, and the unit sits on a T-grid floor with lockable double doors. Every used reefer we sell has been maintained, tested and repainted before dispatch.

Power before you order

A reefer is not a plug-in appliance. This unit needs a 5-pole 32 A supply, which on most Australian sites means a licensed electrician installing a suitable outlet, or a generator sized for the compressor’s starting load. Sort the supply out before the container arrives — it is the single most common cause of a delayed commissioning.

What “used” means for a reefer

• The refrigeration machinery is tested by our technicians and must pass a PTI before sale
• The container is repainted before delivery to extend its service life
• The shell carries a valid CSC plate
• Cosmetic condition varies — the machinery does not

Accessories and shipping limits

Lights, personnel access doors and ramps are available for reefers. Access doors are fitted after arrival rather than in transit, and available sizes are 100 x 200, 120 x 200 and 140 x 200 cm; installation is quoted separately and adds to the lead time. Note also that the minimum size accepted for standalone ocean freight is 20 ft, so a 10 ft reefer ships coupled to another unit or as mixed cargo.
