2000 Sooner 4 Horse Float

A poured-in rubber floor is the feature that makes this Sooner worth a close look. There are no mat edges, no seams and nowhere for urine to sit against the deck — on a four horse float that carries a lot of animals a lot of the time, that is a structural advantage as much as a hygiene one.

It also comes with ten aluminium yard panels, a full-length awning, a hay rack with two water tanks and an extra-large dressing room.

Ten portable yard panels

Ten panels at 1.83 m each gives you roughly enough to build a decent temporary yard at a campdraft, a rally or an overnight stop. Carrying them with the float means you are not borrowing, improvising with electric tape, or leaving a horse tied to the side of a float all night.

Two water tanks

Four horses in Australian summer heat is a serious water requirement, and taps at country grounds are often distant, slow or shared. Two plumbed tanks on the hay rack put the water where you need it and keep the weight high and centred rather than sloshing in the tack room.

Imported US-market stock. It has not been assessed against Australian Design Rules, state registration or roadworthy requirements, or any Australian livestock transport welfare code, and no such compliance is claimed. Have the float independently inspected before it carries horses. Delivery is a flat A$450 Australia-wide; see our shipping policy.
