Used 20ft Full Side Access Container – Open Side

A used 20ft with the full side hinged open plus end doors — forklift access along the whole length, at a fraction of what a new side-access container costs. CSC plated to 24 tonnes.
Full side access at used-container money. The whole 20ft flank opens on hinged double doors as well as the conventional pair at the end, so a forklift reaches any point along the length and you can see the entire load without walking in. New FSA containers are expensive because of the fabrication involved; used ones are the way most Australian buyers actually get one.
These are ex-shipping-line units sold wind and watertight, CSC plated to 24 tonnes gross with eight vents and a 28 mm marine plywood floor.

Check the doors on delivery
The one thing to watch on a used side-access container is the long doors, because they are the part that suffers most from being stored on uneven ground. Ours are checked before dispatch, and setting the container on level bearers at your end is what keeps them working.
Working room beside it
Allow around three metres of clear ground along the opening side for the leaves to fold back plus the forklift’s turning room. Positioning an FSA container hard against a fence removes the reason to own one.
The plate is 24 tonnes
Cutting a six-metre opening removes structural steel, so the rating is lower than a standard 20ft. Check your payload against it. New one-trip FSA units are listed in containers for export; more used stock is in the used container range.
