A furnished, expandable container house on a three-axle trailer base, available as a one-room or two-room loft at 5.8 m or 7.8 m long. Kitchen, bathroom and finishes already installed.
Choose between a one-room loft at 5.8 m long or a two-room loft at 7.8 m, both 2.3 m wide and 4.2 m to the top of the loft. Either way the unit arrives furnished and move-in ready on an American-style three-axle trailer base, with the kitchen, bathroom, flooring, lighting and fixtures already fitted.
The one-room version suits solo living, a guest cabin or short-stay accommodation. The two-room suits couples, small families or a rental where a second bedroom changes what you can charge.
The frame is C89 light gauge steel at 89 mm, with a stainless steel and high-grade metal skin. Total weight is around 4,900 lb, roughly 2,223 kg. The manufacturer describes the structure as fully waterproof with a Grade 8 seismic rating; those are the maker’s ratings and are not an Australian Standard certification or a cyclone rating.
It travels as oversized truck freight and needs a crane to unload – a forklift will not do it. Have the crane and the final position confirmed before the truck is booked.
Being on a trailer does not automatically exempt a dwelling from planning and building requirements in Australia. Rules differ substantially between states and even between councils. Nothing here should be taken as a claim of council approval or NCC compliance. Our approval guide explains the questions to ask, and similar units sit under cabins for sale.
