A 13.41 m aluminium ATC ROM 500 gooseneck car hauler on three 3,180 kg torsion axles — a rolling pit garage for multi-car race teams, with insulated walls, escape door and premium LED electrics.
This is the biggest enclosed car hauler in our range: a 13.41 m aluminium ATC ROM 500 on a gooseneck hitch, built for teams who move two or three race cars in an enclosed hauler plus a full workshop in one hit. At this length it is a rolling pit garage rather than a car trailer, and it wants a heavy-duty tow vehicle with a properly engineered gooseneck or fifth-wheel setup in the tray.
The blacked-out .040 (1.02 mm) skin, tapered nose and rear wing with LED lighting are the giveaways that this one was specified for presentation as much as capacity. It sits at the top of our enclosed trailers range.
A gooseneck of this length turns very differently to a tag trailer. The pivot sits over the rear axle of the tow vehicle rather than behind the bar, so it tracks tighter through gates and pit lanes, but you need real length behind the cab and a tow vehicle matched to the loaded mass. Work out your combination weights with your tow vehicle manufacturer before you commit.
The riser carpet, insulated walls and A/C framing point at a trailer meant to be lived out of between sessions. Three axles spread the load and settle the ride at highway speed, which matters on a long interstate transport leg. The escape door with removable mudguard lets a driver out of a car parked hard against the wall — the single most useful option on any long hauler.
Sold as imported US-market stock. Registration, compliance and roadworthiness requirements for trailers of this size differ by state and territory, and this unit has not been assessed against Australian Design Rules — confirm what is required with your state transport authority before any road use. Delivery is a flat A$450 Australia-wide; see our shipping and delivery policy for timeframes. Payment is by bank transfer; the buyers guide walks through the process.
