Two galvanised 3 m stores joined end to end for 5.7 m of internal length in a two-metre-wide footprint. For canoes, posts, pipe and ladders — and for the narrow gap beside a building.
End-on-end linking exists for long things. Canoes, sail masts, goal posts, lengths of pipe, ladders and timber all defeat a square store and fit comfortably in a narrow one. Joining two galvanised 3 m stores end to end gives 5.7 m of continuous internal length in a footprint just over two metres wide — which also happens to be the shape that fits down the side of a building.
The bundle includes both stores and the end linking kit. Components are carried by two to three people, so the whole structure can be built where a truck could never deliver a container.
| Configuration | 2 x 3 m stores joined end on end |
|---|---|
| Internal length | 5.7 m |
| External width | Approximately 2.14 m |
| External height | 2.09 m |
| Bundle contents | 2 x 3 m galvanised stores, 1 x end linking kit |
| Finish | Fully galvanised |
| Handling | Components movable by 2–3 people |
| Doors | Can be fitted at both ends if required |
Five point seven metres of internal length will not take 6 m lengths of material. If you are storing full-length timber, pipe or steel, this combination is not the right one — look at the 8 m end-linked bundle instead, or at a 20ft shipping container.
Stores of different lengths can be joined within the linked range to hit the exact internal dimension you need, and doors can go at both ends for through-loading. Linking works in one direction per structure. See the options in flat pack containers, or the 20ft steel alternative in the 20ft container range.
