20ft x 8ft Steel Canteen & Drying Room Cabin

On a compound where ground is tight, this cabin does the work of two. One end is a canteen with sink, taps, water heater, cabinet and worktop; the other is a partitioned drying room with fitted benches, coat hooks and a high-level fan heater. One 6.25 m cabin, one delivery, one set of connections.

That combination suits medium civil and construction sites where the crew is big enough to need both facilities but not big enough to justify two separate 20-footers – and it suits inner-city jobs where every square metre of compound is being paid for.

The partition matters

Keeping the drying area behind a partition is not just tidiness. Wet gear puts a lot of moisture into the air, and you do not want that condensing on the smoko table. The partition plus the fan heater keeps the two environments separate.

Electrical supply

Between a water heater, a convector heater and a fan heater, this cabin draws more than a plain office. It comes with a fitted consumer unit, power points and strip lighting, and is electrically tested before dispatch, but the site supply needs to be sized properly by your electrician.

Siting

Corner posts, four level bearing points, stackable with matching 20 ft units. Two shuttered sliding windows and a twin-deadlocked steel door keep it secure overnight.
