A 20ft bunded store with a 300 mm raised bund under a welded 3 mm Durbar floor — more containment volume per square metre than a flat-floor unit, with 24 vents and a factory lockbox.
A raised bund gives you more containment volume than a flat floor store of the same footprint, because the 300 mm step at the door is holding back a deeper reservoir. The trade-off is the step itself: drums have to be lifted or ramped in rather than wheeled. For long-term storage of a fixed inventory — where things go in once and stay — that is a good deal.
The unit starts as a one-trip 20ft container. A 3 mm Durbar chequer-plate floor is welded in above the bund, 24 vents are cut through the walls, and the original Cor-Ten shell, cargo doors and lockbox are retained.

A drum trolley will not roll over 300 mm. Plan for a portable ramp, a forklift, or a drum lifter — our container ramp suits this unit and stores inside when it is not in use. Sites that load daily usually specify the flat-floor version instead.
Containment sizing, separation and signage fall under AS 1940 and your state work health and safety regulator; we supply the structure, not the certification. If the store is going onto land that needs planning consent, start with our council approval guide. Other sizes are in the 40ft and 8ft and 10ft ranges.
