Carries two cars in one 6.71 m box: a tiltable 4.27 m stacker lift, 3.45 m interior height and airline-track restraint, for teams who would otherwise need two trailers and two tows.
Two cars, one trailer. The ATC Stacker ROM 900 carries a tiltable 4.27 m lift inside a 6.71 m box with 3.45 m of interior height, so a second car travels on a deck above the first. Compared with the single-deck enclosed haulers in the range, teams running a race car and a support car, or a car plus a spares mule, get both to the track in a single tow.
It is a specialist piece of equipment and it is priced like one. The payoff is that you are not paying twice for transport, twice for fuel, or leaving a car at home.
The lift tilts and takes removable inserts, so the upper deck can be reconfigured or taken out when you want the full 3.45 m of headroom for something tall. Bogey wheels at the rear stop the beavertail digging in on a steep driveway crossover, and a winch plate is fitted for pulling a non-runner up the ramp.
Airline track plus six rated rings gives you a lot of anchor options, which matters more on a stacker than on a single-deck trailer — the upper car has to be restrained against pitch as well as slide. Whatever you use, work to the load-restraint principles in the National Transport Commission’s Load Restraint Guide and rate your straps for the mass you are actually holding.
The 59 mm coupling is a US ball size and is not the 50 mm ball standard on most Australian tow vehicles. Coupling, brake, lighting and plate requirements for road use are set by your state transport authority; this unit has not been assessed against Australian Design Rules and you should confirm what is needed before towing it. Delivery is a flat A$450 Australia-wide — details on our shipping page.
