2024 Diamond C 8.5ft x 22ft Deckover Trailer – 3.2t with Slide-In Ramps

Two extra feet of deck sounds minor until you are trying to fit two pallets and a bobcat attachment on at once. This 8.5 ft x 22 ft Diamond C GDD gives 6.71 m of straight deck at the full 2,591 mm width, on a slightly heavier 152 mm channel frame than its 20 ft sibling.

Loading is via 2,083 mm slide-in ramps made from 51 mm square tube, stowed beneath the deck. The deck itself is straight rather than dovetailed, which keeps the full length usable for flat freight.

Gross 7,000 lb (about 3,175 kg), tare 3,120 lb (about 1,415 kg), rated payload 3,880 lb (about 1,760 kg). Model GDD23522x102, black, new.

Australian road use

Note that the extra length costs about 122 kg of tare against the 20 ft version, and that comes straight out of payload.
