2010 Merhow 3 Horse Angle Load Float

Interior fans, a roof vent per stall and a lined, insulated roof set this three horse float apart. Whoever specified this Merhow understood that the enemy on an Australian road is heat, not cold, and equipped it accordingly.

A factory-fitted rear ramp, an escape door from the first stall, a stud wall divider and six exterior tie rings make it a practical three-horse for a working property or a busy competition schedule.

Fans, vents and insulation together

Insulation keeps radiant heat out. Vents let hot air escape. Fans move air when the float is stationary and the vents are doing nothing. Having all three is uncommon and it is the specification you want if you travel in summer, sit in queues at showground gates, or park up between classes.

The stud wall divider

A full-height stud wall separates one horse completely from the others — useful for a stallion, a horse that bites, or a mare in season travelling with company. On a three-horse float it means you can carry an animal that would otherwise need its own trip.
