A 12 ft x 8 ft all-steel store with full-width doors, steel sides and understructure. Stacks with matching units and stands on corner posts – secure lock-up for tools and materials on any site.
Not everything on a site needs insulation and lighting. This 12 ft x 8 ft steel store is deliberately plain: a welded steel box with steel doors, steel sides and a steel understructure, built to hold power tools, consumables, fittings and small plant behind something an angle grinder would struggle with.
Internally it gives 3.52 m x 2.36 m with 2.44 m of headroom – noticeably more usable height than the fitted-out cabins in the same external size, because there is no ceiling lining or insulation eating into it.
Four level, load-bearing points under the corners is all it asks. Keep it off soft fill, and if you plan to stack, get the bottom unit dead level first because everything above inherits the error.
A used 20 ft container is often the alternative. It is longer, heavier and cheaper per cubic metre, but harder to place. If you are weighing the two, our guide to container grades explains what condition terms actually mean, and current pricing is in the Australian price guide. Other store sizes sit under cabins for sale.
