10ft x 8ft Open Mesh Floor Bunded Store

An open mesh floor is the answer to a specific complaint about bunded stores: drums standing in whatever has leaked. Here a galvanised grating rated to 7.5 kN/m² carries the load while liquid falls straight through into the sealed bund beneath, so the stored vessels stay dry and a slow leak is visible under the floor rather than hidden under a drum.

This 10ft unit is converted from a one-trip container and combines the mesh floor with a 300 mm raised bund, giving the deepest containment we offer at this size. Twelve vents run through the walls.

How to load it

Load from the doorway by hand or with a drum lifter. Forklift pockets are fitted to move the store itself, but do not drive a forklift onto the grating — where you need in-unit forklift access, specify the flat Durbar floor version instead.

Inspection made easier

• Leaks are visible below the grating rather than concealed under stock
• Air circulates under the drums, reducing corrosion at the base seam
• The bund can be pumped out without lifting every vessel first
• Spilled liquid drains away from the working surface immediately
