10ft Cut Down Used Shipping Container

Ten feet is not an ISO length, so a 10ft used container is always a made thing: a full-size container shortened, with new rear panels and corner posts fabricated in and the whole unit prepared and resprayed inside and out. Typically one 40ft yields four of these. What you end up with is a compact container with a clean finish and an honest ex-shipping-line shell behind it.

It goes where a 20ft cannot — a suburban driveway, a courtyard, a strata car park, the tight corner of a commercial site. It is sold wind and watertight.

Cut to your measurement

Ten feet is what we stock, but the cut can be made anywhere. If the gap on your site is 3.6 metres or 4.5 metres, tell us the number and we will quote it rather than selling you something that nearly fits. That flexibility is the main advantage of a cut-down over a factory 10ft.

What the cut does to certification

Cutting a container changes its structure and voids the original CSC plate, so a cut-down unit cannot be used for export or sea freight. It is a storage container. If you need to ship, buy a plated 20ft or 40ft instead — the distinction is explained in container grades explained.

Delivery and placement

Delivery is a flat A$450 anywhere in Australia. Have four bearers or pads ready at the corner positions and a clear straight run for the tilt-tray. More used stock is listed in the used container range.
