A one-trip 8ft in blue: the secure lock-up for sites measured in centimetres. Cor-Ten steel, marine plywood floor, factory lockbox — craneable in, and craneable out when the lease ends.
Blue is the workhorse finish on 8ft stock, and this is the container people buy when a shed will not do and a 10ft will not fit. It goes into residential backyards, strata car parks, small commercial tenancies and remote farm gates — anywhere secure storage is needed and the available slot is measured in centimetres rather than metres.
One-trip means it was manufactured in China and carried cargo to Australia on a single voyage. That is the most common form of new container in this market, and it is materially cheaper than a container fabricated locally to the same specification.

Households use them for tools, bikes, camping gear and anything that would otherwise fill a garage. Businesses use them as a lock-up on a leased site where a permanent structure is not allowed. In both cases the deciding factor is the same: it can be craned in, and it can be craned out again when the lease or the project ends.
A small sealed container sweats more readily than a large one because the air volume is smaller relative to the surface area. Keep stock on a pallet, leave the vents clear, and use desiccant sticks if you are storing anything absorbent. Do not tape the vents shut.
Green is the other stocked finish, and the 10ft gives you an extra half-metre of length in the same width. See the 8ft and 10ft category, or read the council approval guide before placing one on residential land.
