30ft x 8ft One Trip Shipping Container – Cut Down

Thirty feet is not a standard ISO length, so every 30ft container in Australia has been made rather than shipped. This one is cut down from a one-trip 40ft: the unit is shortened, new rear panels and corner posts are fabricated in, and the whole container is prepared and resprayed inside and out. What you get is a container with new steel and a clean finish at a length that fits a block a 40ft cannot.

That is the usual reason people buy it — a driveway, a yard or a setback that stops three metres short of what a full 40ft needs.

Why it cannot be shipped

Cutting a container changes its structure, so the original CSC plate no longer applies and the unit cannot be used for export or sea freight. That is not a defect — it is what every cut-down container in the market is. If you need to ship, buy a standard 20ft or 40ft with a valid plate. Cut to your length

Thirty feet is our stocked size, but the same process produces any length you need. If your gap is 8.4 metres rather than 9.1, tell us the measurement and we will quote the cut.
